Email Content Manager/Writer

Hometalk, located in Jerusalem is looking to hire an Email Content Manager/Writer. This is a maternity leave replacement role. Anticipated period for this position: January 2019 through October 2019
 

Job Description

You will be solely responsible for sourcing, assembling, and writing the editorial portions of Hometalk's daily and weekly newsletters, managing and reporting on the email performance and related data, and strategizing email improvements and iterations. You will need to run A/B tests, analyze results, iterate and improve.

You will get the chance to work with a dynamic, growth-oriented, creative team focused on growing Hometalk's audience and showcasing the Hometalk brand worldwide. You will report directly to the head of Growth.
 

Requirements

  • Native English speaker

  • Phenomenal grasp of English language, grammar, and spelling

  • Ability to be flexible with test plans and strategies

  • Ability to iterate strategies quickly

  • Flexibility working outside of in-office hours and responding to emails or calls after hours

  • BA degree in a related field (English, Marketing)

  • At least 3 years of experience writing and editing

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Highly self-motivated, have a stellar work ethic and ability to take ownership

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a do whatever it takes attitude

  • Must be technically adept
