

DevOps / Platform Engineer
Overview
We are looking to expand our Devops team. In this role, you’ll help manage and improve the systems that power our applications, working closely with developers to make deployments faster, more reliable, and easier to scale. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of technologies, with opportunities to grow your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and performance optimization.
This is a full time, hybrid role (Mondays & Wednesdays from our Jerusalem office). The role requires flexibility with working outside of in-office hours
Responsibilities

Support and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth deployments and reliable services.

Build automation and tools through Linux administration and scripting.

Manage MySQL databases, including backups, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Work with developers to support PHP applications in production.

Configure and optimize Varnish for caching and performance.

Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, escalating when needed.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity
Requirements

Native level English (you will be working with teams abroad)

2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.

Good working knowledge of GCP services (Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM).

Proficiency with Linux systems administration and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python, or similar).

Familiarity with MySQL administration and query optimization.

Exposure to supporting PHP-based applications.

Understanding of Varnish caching.

Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
Added Skills

Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics.

Knowledge of Redis for caching.

Familiarity with Postfix or other mail server administration.

Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
