Influencer Community Manager

Do you love DIY fashion (refashioning, sewing, jewelry making, etc.) and have experience in influencer marketing, digital content creation, and social media? Hometalk, the world’s largest DIY community is looking for an influencer community manager to join our amazing team!

 

In this role you will manage and grow influencer programs for Hometalk’s new DIY fashion vertical through outreach, onboarding, and account management. You’ll also be managing our social media channels with millions of followers. This is a part time, remote position with potential for becoming full time, where you’ll have the luxury of working from home while collaborating with our awesome global team with locations in NYC, Houston, and Jerusalem.


 

Job description:

  • Conduct outreach and onboarding of new influencers to Hometalk’s platforms

  • Be the point person for influencers, providing education, support,  and ongoing guidance with our programs.

  • Create value for influencers to help them succeed in driving traffic, new business opportunities, and increased brand awareness through our programs. 

  • Acquire high quality content for Hometalk and work with our distribution teams to meet content goals.

  • Plan and implement our social calendar in collaboration with our video and community teams. 

  • Design graphics, write headlines and descriptions, and develop fun campaigns.

  • Monitor comments and messages, and engage with our community across multiple social platforms.


 

Qualifications:

  • A passion for DIY fashion (having your own DIY fashion projects to show is a huge plus!)

  • Stellar writing and communication skills.

  • Proven experience working in digital content creation.

  • Experience working with influencers in a partnership capacity.

  • Process oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
