Senior Product Manager

Hometalk, Inc. is a lifestyle brand serving DIY, food and fashion content to a large audience (with 2.8 million subscribers and 7MM monthly uniques). 

 

As senior product manager, you will be working with the management team and stakeholders across the company to develop and bring the company vision to life. You will be responsible for managing new products throughout their life cycle, inspiring and empowering our 2.8 million members to create DIY projects, recipes and fashion. From planning to launch, you will be leading a team that loves to tackle challenges and thrill our users with world-class features.

 

Hometalk, Inc. is located in Jerusalem, but this position is remote and only requires 1 day/week in the office (post Covid-19).

 

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute Hometalk’s growth into e-commerce 

  • Manage and own key product areas throughout the entire lifecycle, from ideation and business case through launch and growth

  • Conduct user research on an ongoing basis, to help guide future product goals

  • Unlock user engagement and subscription growth, contributing to Hometalk’s bottom line

  • Research, plan, and define detailed product requirements in a way that meets both business needs and is clearly defined for developers

  • Collaborate with relevant specialists in company to make sure all aspects of a feature are AMAZING, eg: design, BI, DEV, QA, HTML/CSS

  • Energize, motivate & empower the team working on your projects

  • Ensure & monitor the quality of ongoing features

 

Requirements

  • You are self-driven and take extreme ownership

  • You are entrepreneurial and creative

  • You are passionate about building great user experiences, and you have a keen eye for details, UX & design   

  • You have strong (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills in English

  • Experience in E-commerce is a plus 

  • 3+ years experience as a Product Manager

  • Knowledge of Mysql, ability to do thorough data analysis of features, in order to define business needs

  • You have strong interpersonal skills leading and contributing to cross-functional teams

  • You have a love for learning from others in a highly collaborative environment
