Hometalk, based in Jerusalem, is looking to hire an in-office SEO Writer to join our growing content team. We work M,T,W in-office and S,TH from home. You'll be creating competitive, top-tier content to drive SEO traffic to Hometalk. Writing long-form buying guides, listicles, and how-to guides to build a comprehensive library of in-house, high-quality content for Hometalk.com.

Our three platforms--Hometalk, Foodtalk, and Upstyle--are top online destinations for inspiration, ideas, and step-by-step tutorials spanning the home and garden, food recipe, and DIY fashion spaces with over 1,750,000 DIY tutorials.

 

Working in the content team is a chance to work with a dynamic, growth-oriented, creative team focused on growing Hometalk’s content. You will report directly to the Head of Content Distribution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Writing multiple long-form guides per week

  • Optimizing content for SEO performance including researching relevant SEO keywords

  • Collaborating with the rest of the Content and Growth teams to create strategies that increase content performance and SEO optimization

Requirements:

  • Native level English is a must

  • Phenomenal grasp of English language, grammar, and spelling

  • Highly skilled in writing long-form content

  • Thorough knowledge of SEO usage, best practices, and tooling

  • Extremely adept at research and competitive research

  • Ability to be flexible with strategies

  • Ability to iterate strategies quickly

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Highly self-motivated

  • Extreme ownership
